Tri-Sure® Closures Amsterdam says goodbye to Customer Service Manager Joop van Steenbergen

After 37 years of excellent service within the Group we have to say goodbye to our world famous customer service manager Joop van Steenbergen, he has decided to go with early retirement.

Joop has helped many customers in their production process and he visited many countries around the world. He also frequently gave support to customers during the re-investments of their drum lines. With his expertise in customer issues, listening very closely to the operators who are dealing with the day-to-day issues and at the same time solving their problems.

As commercial organization we have always been jealous that Joop was able to open doors which kept closed for us. On behalf of the whole European sales team we would like to THANK Joop very much and we wish him and his family a happy and above all a healthy early retirement.

Good luck and we'll meet again soon!

UNI-GRIP® AP security and Tamper resistance

The Uni-Grip AP closure lets your package go all plastic without sacrificing security or product integrity. The All plastic closures make corrosion problems a thing of the past and gives environmental advantages in recycling.

The Uni-Grip AP closure snaps on and stays on; no bands or collars that could easily pried off for undetected tampering. The standard cap is white. A range of additional solid colors is available for orders of 50.000 or more.
The caps can also be printed with product identification, safety warnings, or other information in one or two colors, and since the information is printed directly onto the cap - not on a disposable overseal - the labeling stays with the pail until it's empty.Opening drawings and techincal assistance are available to plastic pail manufacturers and filler.

New Tri-Sure® BCS 56x4 Buttress plug

A new BCS 56x4 Buttress plug is now available from Tri Sure® Closures Worldwide. The new 6 Nocks top profile allows for a better material distribution which results in a better performance of the new plug especially in the UN cold drop test. The same Tri-Sure tooling can be used for this new 6N execution.

The new plug has successfully passed the UN cold drop test on 217 L plastic drums (drop at 1.90 m and -18°C ) and sustained the hydraulic pressure test at 3.0 bar during 30 min.

This new plug is available with the same gaskets and the same combinations as for the 4N plug. It is anticipated that the 6N plug will replace the 4N execution in the coming months. It will be supplied automatically as soon as the existing stock of 4N combi-plugs will be exhausted.
