Tri-Sure is proud to share another important milestone in its sustainability and operational excellence journey: our Araucária facility, located in Paraná, Brazil, has recently achieved the 1st Star of the Pellet Zero certification, based on the international Operation Clean Sweep (OCS®) program.
What is the Pellet Zero Program?
Pellet Zero is an international initiative designed to eliminate the loss of plastic pellets across the entire plastics value chain, helping prevent environmental impacts and promoting a culture of responsibility and prevention.
Based on the global Operation Clean Sweep (OCS®) program, Pellet Zero focuses on:
- Zero tolerance for pellet loss;
- Strong operational discipline;
- Employee awareness and engagement;
- Continuous process improvement;
- Environmental and community protection.
Achieving the 1st Star represents formal recognition of the facility’s commitment to the program’s principles, including:
- Official adherence to the initiative;
- Clear definition of internal responsibilities;
- Commitment to the goal of “zero pellet loss”.
