With over 100 years of history, Tri-Sure is a global leader in industrial packaging closure systems, recognized worldwide for quality, reliability, and innovation.

At the same time, our local operations continue to play a key role in advancing sustainability. The Araucária (PR) facility, which serves customers across Brazil and Latin America, purchased International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs) equal to its 2025 electricity consumption. Through this purchase we connect the electricity we use to renewable sources.

Our I-REC purchases are used to offset our Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions at each of our facilities in Brazil. By purchasing I-RECs we link our electricity consumption to renewable and traceable sources, contributing to lower emissions and a more responsible operation.

As highlighted by Plant Manager Diego Barro, this achievement represents an important milestone for the operation and for customers: “This certification reinforces our commitment to more sustainable operations while also delivering value to our customers.
